Pão de queijo is a beloved Brazilian staple, enjoyed in both everyday moments and special occasions. It’s believed to have originated in Minas Gerais, Brazil, in the 18th century, during the colonial period — and has since become a cherished part of Brazilian food culture. Brazilians grow up eating these savory, cheesy bites — for breakfast, school snacks, birthday parties, office breaks, road trips, movie nights, or simply at home when cravings strike. Still incredibly popular, they’re sold all over the country — either warm and ready to eat or frozen to be baked fresh at home. At Chez Dri, our goal is to share this Brazilian favorite with everyone in France. We use only the finest ingredients and are always refining our recipe — made with love, care, and a touch of fun!
